Brushes With Death Or Something Quite Like It EP!

Hi Everybody,

I was really bored on the day before I turned 21, and I'd been writing all these songs about death (naturally), so I recorded them, uploaded them to bandcamp, and you can download them for free! If you really want to pay me for them, that's an option too, but no pressure. :)

There is also some physical copies available, but if you want one of those, I suggested waiting and buying Two Cents From A Crowded Mind, because I'll throw in the Brushes With Death... EP for free!

Brushes With Death Or Something Quite Like It is a three track acoustic EP. Tracklist:

All of these songs basically come out of near death experiences, and my reactions to them, as well as my reflections on death and dying. What a cheerful subject to be writing about before you turn 21, right?!?!?!

Walking in Memphis Cover

I did this a couple weeks back. I'm a huge Marc Cohn fan. As I explain in the video, this is really a piano song and I don't have the kind of powerful voice that can really push this song out in the way Marc Cohn does. Still, I had fun trying it out.

Update on Two Cents Demo

Hey Everybody!

I've got some news: the tracks for the demo are done! They sound excellent, and even though the setlist got changed around quite a bit, I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out.

It flows really nicely, and I think people who enjoy my music, or music like it will enjoy it.

Update on the Recording Process

Hi All,

I finally bought the last piece of gear to complete my recording set up last weekend. Now I just have to get the tracks recorded and see if I can track down some friends to contribute their talents to this project.

Just a reminder about what I'm doing:

For several years I've been planning on recording a demo of sorts that I can sell at Feminist rallies, and to whoever is interested in my music. It's going to be called "Two Cents From A Crowded Mind." I'm planning on including 8-10 tracks, possibly more. I have an Art/Education major friend who designed the cover. The CD is going to be in a neat little recycled cardboard CD sleeve. The original "Stranger to the World" demo will be on there, and I might even do an acoustic version!

I'm planning on doing some recording tomorrow, and hopefully have most of the recording done by the time October is finished.
